• In comparing the "Unit Plan Backward Design" and the "Standards-Targets-Assessments" planner, note the following:
• Step 1 in Backward Design is comparable to Long Term Learning Targets in STA
• Step 3 in Backward Design is comparable to Short Term Learning Targets in STA (ex. A.1, A.2...)
• Step 4 in Backward Design is comparable to Summative Assessments in STA
• Step 5 in Backward Design involves everyday lesson plans, including Formative Assessments in STA
